One championship. Six iconic races. A new host each year.

In 2028, the Gate River Run 15K will host the PRRO Championship, bringing the circuit’s championship stage to Jacksonville, Florida. The new championship cycle begins with Gate River Run in 2027, so there will be no PRRO Championship race in 2027. Athletes will compete across the PRRO Circuit throughout the year, leading into the next designated championship event in 2028. Known for its spectator-lined course through downtown Jacksonville, San Marco, and the iconic climb over the Hart Bridge, Gate River Run will provide the setting for the first championship of the new cycle, where qualified athletes will compete for PRRO Championship honors and a share of the event’s prize purse.

Thousands of spectators line this loop course starting and finishing at the sports complex, running through the heart of downtown Jacksonville, over the Main Street Bridge into historic San Marco and St Nicolas neighborhoods and finishing over the 180-foot tall "Green Monster," Hart Bridge.
